Study meeting on the Sukkot holiday

September 2002

Rabbi Joshua Engleman of Jerusalem came to speak on "The Sukka as a radical reception of guests: the question of how much our gates are open to peace?"

Rabbi Engleman is a teacher of Judaism at Kolot Seminary and the Hebrew University. In addition he treats children at Ayalon Centre, Jerusalem and is a composer of Jewish soul music.

The meeting was attended by a small circle of Jewish and Palestinian members of NSWAS and guests. After the presentation, an interesting discussion developed.
