OUR EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

The Educational Institutions of Wahat al-Salam – Neve Shalom (WASNS) were established on the principle that when people learn together – whether they engage in fun lessons or deep dialogue around difficult issues – they begin to understand one another and think in new ways about working together toward building a just, shared society. Peace education, in WASNS, begins with children in the primary education system and continues throughout adulthood in the School for Peace and other institutions. We teach peace in a way that values all groups and identities, which encourages cooperation and which helps people to make room for other’s opinions, religious practices and nationalities.
